^^this is not the correct thread .PM any mod and you would get your answer

Well Written EL

I do feel How miraculosuly I have changed my riding in this One year after departing from my college life.

The Three digit speed which were my common speedo tickets those days but now arent fantasisng me any more .I thought I need a bigger CC bike to do the job...but I forgot the bike which gave me all the fun I asked everytime from it in those college blue races.

Its true that We change..not in passion but in the ability.

I do am in the eaRly MidLife Crisis and this thread always boosts my morale to get to my real Conscious.

Some bonds never break. I love my bike

whiteunicorn you are still young just out of college , and shouldn't even be thinking of mid life. I started riding at 15 and I am now 58. Nothing gives me the joy and happiness of riding my old horse. It can still do 80 to 90 Kms/Hr.Since spares are getting impossible to acquire I have started looking for a P 180 . You never get old if you have your favorite Bike. Keep riding sensibly and you will start to become younger. With Age we mellow and learn to appreciate the good things in life.As we age we drive fast but in a responsible manner without being a danger to us and the others on the road.
I am driving cars for the past 20 or so years, but become younger every time I am on my Bike. I do drive fast , but within my bike's and my reflex limits...I ALWAYS WEAR THE HELMET.
Ride safe and live the experience longer.

I feel the mid life crisis is a experience we all face once we do cross the age mark of 30, till that time we are like rippers and want to try every new bike in the market, its been 10 years since i am riding my age old splendor, though i owe 2 scooter, a car and my dads 3 decade old bajaj scooter, i also felt like buying the latest technology equipped bike and blow of everyone but somewhere i think that my current splendor can easily do speeds of 70-80 km/h but for me its not a comfortable speed, its not the question of engine or bhp but its my comfort range, you all people may laugh that i use my friends CBZ at times and dont rip her beyond 50 at times even on highway forget city then, may be once in a blue rip her, its not that i am scared but had seen so much and ridden so much that i feel one should be be always take the speed that the mind and body is comfortable, regardless of the cc and bhp.

Gray-haired riders don't get that way from pure luck.

You don’t stop riding because you’re getting old, but you get old when you stop riding.

I am 40kms away from Kolkata. In a town named Hooghly. People here ride mostly insane with no gear at all. My friends make fun of me for riding slow (45-50kmph max) that too with gear on(Helmet, gloves, shoes).

Though I am a very young rider, and started riding just recently, I too feel 45-50 is my most comfortable limit. Thats why I ride in those limits. Btw I am 23 only.

Phew! Very well written guys. Does teach you a lot about yourself. But i'd say a closed mind always rolls towards monotony. At some point of time we do get bored thinking if we should always listen to someone else and not let ourselves explore this journey called life.
It does feel bad when you're in a position where somebody elder(not necessarily) to you has to decide about your choices in life and that's like you were wishing all your dreams turned into a reality but most of the times its like they put a bullet through your vase full of wishes. Curiosity, and patience especially should do the job of a positive perspective. We always hurry things at this point of life 'mid life' as you said. But there is a lot more in life than just looking back and wondering if monotony in itself is a monotony. But like Sunny bhai said - get a fresh look for your bike and some and gear and hit the gas. I'm sure there are lots of people out there waiting to explore, in the years to come.
In my case, though i don't own a bike, and some of my friends are bored of owning theirs, i always pull them out of their houses, with a camera in hand and off we are to explore the untold places. But that passion of owning a bike is never ending in me though. After all some people have laid down 'THEIR monotonous lives' to making our lives more exciting and interesting.

Spoken like a true youngster..Keep up the spirit and be safe. Some of the Greatest achievements in the world are by people who are young at heart, and deeds. So learn to keep the Youngster in you ..YOUNG ALWAYS.
Age is for the body ..NOT THE SPIRIT WITHIN.
