One question more. How safe is it on the roads. Since am going alone, I am most concerned about that.

Safe in the sense, not the bike. About the people. Do I need to pass through villages and the people might turn odd. So, just thinking.
How much time do you have with you to ride?
Do you have 2 days for the ride?

The day is short now and the nights are longer. how comfortable are you riding at night? (I don't mean all night, a few hours in darkness)..

Since you've never done this route before it's better you split the ride for 2 days.. take it easy, take a lot of breaks .. have fun along the way rather than belt your way down to Blr..

Hubli, Dharwad is almost mid point so, halt there at night.. lots of cheap accomo. at Old Hubli bus stand..

The Pune-Hubli half is more enjoyable than the Hubli-Bangalore half.. so, at any cost ensure that you do hubli-blr during day light since its your first ride this side.. lonely boring roads.. and Ranebennur town which won't have a bypass..

Enough pointers.. have fun..

@HydroXidE
I have enough time in hand. Am actually shifting from Pune to Bangalore permanently. So, no hurry. I can even take 3 days
@Others
Thanks for your suggestion guys. I will try to follow all your suggestions.

I will be planning to leave on 3rd Jan, saturday, maybe by 5 in the morning. unless something strikes in between and have to leave before 3rd.

Although I have no doubts, sometimes wonder if my FZ can take it all.

Thumbs up long trip

Hey Buddy,

Dont worry jus trust urself and even trust the bike.
U can make it easily, Jus hit the road and everthing will
be smooth and clear as u go by. U will build up more confidence
when alone. So chill mate and start ur journey.

divide the kms. ride half distance one day and the other half on the next day. in dat way even the bike wont be strained and u can have a peaceful ride.

also dont accelerate too much, jus keep fluctuationg ur speed around 70 - 80 kmph.

tc bro. have a nice and safe trip......

best of luck for the trip dude..
i would suggest, try to cover upto 500-550 KM in first day. as roads are bad after that. for second day, keep less..

being solo rider, you can easily cover this, as no dependency breaks ..
