Hi Abhinav,I too own a Achiever 2006 model.
1.With the stock tyres the bike was quite unstable and skiddy at high speed and turnning.I changed the stock front spoked wheel to alloys from Glamour (drum),tyre remained 2.75*18,Rs.2100.The rear wheel was replaced by X-treme's alloys,Rs.2800.Rear tyres were changed to Dunlop Monster 100/90*18.All this modifications were directly done.After the modification the bike is a lot more composed and sure footed at high speeds and turns.But marginal loss of pickup is felt. 2. Go for Motul 300v. 3.Change oil at every 2500 to 3000 km intervel.Check the handle bar mounting rubbers. 4. No idea. Last edited by amanlakra; 11-29-2010 at 11:12 PM. |
