Default Swing arm swap

I have a P180UG3, and I was wondering if the bike would feel much more stable if the swing arm is swapped with a longer swing arm, say the oval one from the UGIV or the P200. Also I'd like to know the approx cost of the same and whether it is a straight fit to the UG3.

I had heard that the 200 swing arm is a perfect fit. Actually the thing is I don't like making any irreversible modifications.I am more like a straight fit kinda guy.And the mods on your bike look damn sweet.. where did you get that numberplate holder?

I already find the UGIIIs to be very lazy handling and not too flickable! You want to make it more like that? Will improve straight line stability though. Good for touring uses IMO.

@abhijeet080808 Dude I want exactly that. So do you have any idea about the mounting points? Are they similar?

I have heard P220 swing arm bush is of a different type. So, confirm it before getting one.

Stability is not due to a single factor alone. So just swapping the swing arm will not give you better handling and also it may/may not require many mods !

Changing the swingarm wont make the bike ""stable" , i have a UGIII, it is stable enough, if your bike is not then go for a suspension overhaul(front forks might need attention after 20K kms) , else if you need more "stability" get a slightly broader tyre, a 120/80 Zapper will do the job well. Changing the swingarm alone wont result in stability
