Thanks to some stupid kids staying in my apartment complex, they managed to put a stone or something of that sort into my silencer! now the damn thing is irritating with it vibrating inside the silencer

My bike is pretty new(only 3k) and i wanted to know if there was a certain way to get that stone out coz from what I know and what the mechanic said, because of the chambers inside the silencer, it's hard to get it out either ends!

Someone help me please! It's been in there for a week now!

difficult to carry out. your best option is to remove silencer and see if u can rattle it out.. dumb kids man... i would take each one to their parents and make them pay for a new silencer.

BTW i give you the award for the weirdest issue faced till now, that i have seen.. you take the cake..

When i was a kid i always had the tendency to put stones inside my dad's splendor

I did put some stones inside. but they were too small!

Cyrus, I highly suspect this guy is the culprit. When he was small, he put small stones. Now that he is big, he put a big stone. Do not leave this guy

I would give that title to the post about hair coming out of silencer

If it was visible, it would come out with some effort, but this has probably fallen into the vacuum of the silencer hull, hence no photos

Target locked! waiting for clearance to fire!

Man, this is like the Achilles heel, one small stone! and a whole silencer! I'll probably have to replace the whole thing if taking it out by dismounting the silencer fails!! The worst part is, it's kids of the daily wage workers who are supposed to take care of the vehicles parked downstairs, and there is no way these people can pay up for even a repair, let alone an entire silencer!
Two months ago their parents whitewashed a wall beside which I had parked my bike and I was stunned/shocked/awe! at seeing my bike splattered with white wash all over it! I had just teflon coated it a few days before that! Thank fully it was only 'chuna' and it washed off, but slight stains still remain.. I was in shock for few days thinking what would have been the scene if it was actually paint???!!! Oh god! the entire bike would have been ruined!

It looks like I'll have to have some kind of a secure box to put my bike in and lock it so that these careless and irresponsible people don't ruin my life!

If you can't get it out yourself, you'f have to take it to mech. He'll cut a portion, take out the stone and weld it back.

Have you tried bending the bike backwards&shaking it a bit?
If the stone is small, it should mostly come out with the force when the bike is started.
Else as JD said, you can try dismantling the silencer at the SVC&shaking the stone out.
Keep cutting/welding as the last option&yeah, start using a cover or something-that is a new bike&the people around are too pesky.
