Hi Guys,
I don’t know how this works as I am new to xbhp. However, I need help from you’ll. I am looking for a bike between 400 to 600 cc mostly touring sport. My budget is around 3 Lakhs. I have few bikes in mind which are as follows: 1) CB 400 2) CBR 400 3) ZZR 400/600 4) Katana I have seen few bikes as well. However, the papers are not clear and I am looking for all paper clear, fully legal bike and I don’t mind if the bike is little old (definitely post 2000). Would you be aware of any such above listed bikes or any other bikes which you might think that will suite my budget. My past experiences with bikes are Suzuki gs 500e (which I did not own but was my cousins, which I use to use most of the time) RD 350, Yezdi, Shogun and FZ 16. This is just to let you know about my back ground and fairly new to SBK. So, I extend my humble request to get help from you’ll to land a good bike with good price if I may say so . Ohh yes! I almost forgot, I stay in Bangalore and I love the contents in Xbhp! |

Do Not go for used bikes which were not officially released in India,as there will be spares, documentation and maintenance problem.
For a Budget of 300k you can get new 250 cc bikes. Consider- 1.Honda CBR250R (abs) 2.Kawasaki Ninja 250 (2012 is yet to be released) 3.KTM Duke 200 (Will be released Very soon) ... ... . .. . All these bikes fall under 200k(Except Ninja 250),u can use your remaining 100k for gears, fuel or probably buy another bike ![]() ![]() Remember If you Buy New bike - You will get mental satisfaction for free !!! Though Ninja 250R will cost you OTR 300k or maybe a bit more depending on your city. For touring purposes CBR 250R is a good buy.. Though many say that CBR 250R service ain't good. Also, if you can stretch the budget to 500k then you can go for Hyosung GT650 R/N Ninja 650R (no idea when the 2012 model would be available, bookings have been closed as of now) I'll suggest you to wait till the auto expo & see if any new 250's or above is in the pipeline & then pick your ride.
