Default Free flow shall we go for it or not?

Hi guys

Is free flow cylincer for 4stroke bikes really useful in increasing the performance?

By how much it will affect the performance?

Anyone tried HRC exhaust? I have seen 1 fiero and 2 cbz here in pune, but the owners were not near their bikes so coudn't talk with them.

Spelling: silencer

well bunny has converted his orignal cbz silencer to a free flow one... and yes it has made a differnce. bunny can u give more info on the free flow silencer.

i have converted my zen's silencer into a free flow one. though i feel at lower rpm the power is a little less but at higher rpm it is a monster. my next step is to get rid of a the catalytic converter and have seperate exhaust pipes for each cylinder.

well in india not much ppl hv experimented wid free flow n stuff for 4 stroke bikes. hrc is available in delhi also..i drove a cbz wid hrc exhaust,i found dat initial was a bit better.
i fitted KRP's exhaust charger (2300 bucks!!) but it didnt work..
HRC has a nice exhaust note to it n nothin more.. costs abt 600 (here in delhi)

lol krp makes 2 st expansions,so if it was a expansion won,t work.krome u need a header free flow combo for a zen.individual pipes not better.a free flow needs basic calc.like bikes comp.exhaust valve duration and head design, these r some of stuff u need to know before designing a free flow.

so a properly designed free flow will result in how much increase in perfromance? Some rough estimate.
