Small Hole in the below part of exhaust tube - Hero Hunk 2012

    Small Hole in the below part of exhaust tube - Hero Hunk 2012

    Hi Admin/all,
    Please look into the pic attached. Today morning while warming up my Hunk (2012 with Kickstart, 1 month old, Ran 400kms) I accidentally noticed a "hole" on the below side of the exhaust tube.
    Is it normal or should I rush to the Service center?
    Also for information, when the bike is on i can feel exhaust air to gush out of this hole too.


    Please advise.

        As far as I know, its for letting out water in case any water gets trapped in the exhaust.

            This is totally normal and is there in my bike as well. Almost all Honda and Hero Honda bikes have this hole at the exact same location you have shown in the picture. In fact from my bike sometimes, on cold mornings, water comes out of this hole which is nothing but the combustion water of the burnt fuel which gets flash condensed due to the cold pipe and flows out from this hole. This is also to drain out rain water from the up-swept exhaust. So its totally normal.
