about homologation: (correct me if and wherever I am wrong)
1) if there was a homologation test happened in the past for the model being imported, new machines of the same model need not go through the process.
2) Also ARAI, the authority for homologation, does accept certain international bodies' certfication. That is another channel
3) fresh homologation is a tedious and expensive job for individuals.
