Be it Raju, be it Kaju, they are all in a business. They all want to make money. If you can figure out certain things on your own... have someone with experience in papers with you who can verify the kind of import it is... Motorcycle or as Accessories... these things help. If it is a TR bike, you will rarely be able to transfer in your own name since it is imported under a fictitious name with a fictitious address. But even a TR import can be transferred to your name if the import is more than 2 years old.

I dont think Dreambikes are into bikes anymore. Also why not go for a legal import now, it will cost a little bit more, but a combination of intelligent downpayment and some buffer money for installments should see it through. Of course I am talking about the R1 though.

One suggestion hold your horses, don't hurry in these cases. Be patient gather information about the SBKs and how they are brought in India. You don't want to end up in problem after investing so much of money in it.

Ritesh, Good that you wish to go for a SBK..

Since you wish to go for a used one, First Test-Drive the Bike.
If possible, take a mech with you to thoroughly scrutinize the Bike. Things like rim or fork bends needs to be checked. Also, check for the condition of tires, Insurance coverage, Last service done, etc.. Good Luck for your SBK hunt
