I've only worked on cam profiles for my Fiero, karizma and R15. All my other builds have run on bone stock cam.
It was a stock cam man.

Thanks for the info! Even though I do not currently have much knowledge about porting (except how smoothing the ports to a mirror finish helps) someday I may try my hand at it!

Its the same carb (minus the secondary diaphragm) which comes on the p150 and Apache 150 and also the RTR.
The p150 has a 107.5 mainjet (Dtsi V1 onwards), apache 150 - 102.5 mainjet and RTR uses a 105 mainjet.
In no ways will using a Fiero carb will give any benefit. I'm sure it was something else that your friend did then.
The p180 already has a better BS29 CV which has a larger venturi and offers better high end performance (although the pulsar ports are a dud for high velocity).
Oh,got it. Thanks for that.

well as far as i read on many places the technique is called Port matching so as to reduce turbulence in exhaust gases and hence better escape of gases when coupled with a good free flow exhaust...
