I own a Pulsar 150 cc UGIII since last 2 yrs and 2 months now, have clocked approx 36,500 kms on her...
I was facing this problem from some time now that when I used to get my bike serviced and oil changed, I used to fill the oil till the exact upper mark or sometimes more than that too.The reason why I filled a little more was the oil level in my bike used to go down in about 10-15 days from the oil change.
It goes down to such an extent that when I go to top it up, I top it up by almost half a litre again.
Yesterday I showed my bike to a new mechanic and reported the same problem about oil decreasing every now and then.
He reved the bike and checked the exhaust... There was all black fumes from the exhaust...
And then he said, "block piston gaya hai " ....
I was shocked till death...
He said its uselesss topping up oil again as it will again decrease ... Approx exp he quoted was rs 2000.
I am shocked as to how and why block pisteon has gone.. Any inputs will really be appreciated.

, so how much power increase (in terms of CC as well as bhp) can I expect after re boring ?
