i hav a 2nd edition honda unicorn. i would like to modify it in terms of performance and looks. what are the mods that you guys suggest. i will be thankful if the suggestions are professifonal. please specify the cost also.

Ur question is very vague. It would be really helpful if u could mention what kind of perfomance/ appearance mods ur looking for.

We could just answer like, fit a high performance filter, re-jet, change ur can, upgrade ur cables and change to high performance spark plugs... this is to start with.

Appearance: Paint ur bike white , sticker them blue.

by performance, i meant about the pulling an dpower of the bike..i need to have a powerful bike...the uni is having 150cc. wat modifications could increase the power and pulling of the bike...

by the other, i meant about the mods in looks, like graphics work.

My budget is 5K...I am from Ernakulam. I do perform street races after our class hours, mostly, the traffic will at its peak...
I use it for commuting also..

Ok here you go.......
5k is a low level investment.....But since you involve in street racing.....I advice you the following things.......

1)* Sprocket change.....get a Sprocket which has some Two Teeths extra than your Stock Sprocket.....this will increase your Pickup and offcourse you can do wheelies in Traffic signals........

2)* Go for Full Flow Can Pipe --- this will not do a Big change in your Pickup but still --- for the grunt and also people will admire your racing(especially COPS) .....this will help you in 1.5% increase in pickup tooooo....

3)* If you can spend more money go for K&N .... but after upgrading to K&N you should Upjet....and this will cost more toooo.....

Modifying your stock bike will end up only in extra headache.....
All the above Mods will increase stress in your Soft Honda Engine and thus may cause Engine wear and tear....
Full Flow can will increase the Engine Heat - though you can enjoy the Grunt of it.....
Above all Unicorn is named as a Butter Smooth City Bike....... but these mods can really make it.......opposite to the name.....
