      Hi Roshan,
Ur question is very vague. It would be really helpful if u could mention what kind of perfomance/ appearance mods ur looking for.

We could just answer like, fit a high performance filter, re-jet, change ur can, upgrade ur cables and change to high performance spark plugs... this is to start with.

Appearance: Paint ur bike white , sticker them blue.

                    Ok here you go.......
5k is a low level investment.....But since you involve in street racing.....I advice you the following things.......

1)* Sprocket change.....get a Sprocket which has some Two Teeths extra than your Stock Sprocket.....this will increase your Pickup and offcourse you can do wheelies in Traffic signals........

2)* Go for Full Flow Can Pipe --- this will not do a Big change in your Pickup but still --- for the grunt and also people will admire your racing(especially COPS) .....this will help you in 1.5% increase in pickup tooooo....

3)* If you can spend more money go for K&N .... but after upgrading to K&N you should Upjet....and this will cost more toooo.....

                    ***
Modifying your stock bike will end up only in extra headache.....
All the above Mods will increase stress in your Soft Honda Engine and thus may cause Engine wear and tear....
Full Flow can will increase the Engine Heat - though you can enjoy the Grunt of it.....
Above all Unicorn is named as a Butter Smooth City Bike....... but these mods can really make it.......opposite to the name.....

how does sprocketing affect the engine...will it have a bad effect on the engine...many are telling about rejetting after installing K&N ....wat is re-jetting, and how much will it cost...will re-jetting affect the bike.

sprocket and engine has no relation... it just transfers the power from the engine to the wheels... larger rear sprockets=more initial pickup and vice versa.

rejetting is increasing the size of the jet... it increases the AFR. installing K&N makes your bike run lean, upjetting is used to compensate that... and no, it will not affect your bike... infact no rejetting would screw up your engine...

if you are keen on more power then there is a piston available which makes the bikes cc to 185(i dont remember the brand name) it doesnot require any alterations to the cylinder or the head.

finally its a UNICORN dude! its meant to run smooth... i would rather compensate power(which in my opinion has a lot!) for its comfort...

Stock bikes come jetted lean because of emission standards.

By correcting the stock jetting of your bike, the combustion should be more efficient after adding the K&N Filter and FULL FLOW CAN you will get increase in power, although slight, means your bike does not have to work as hard......... More importantly, a richer mixture causes your engine to burn cooler, extending engine life. It should also crank easier because the initial coolness of the cylinder displaces some of the fuel in the combustion chamber.

So by upjetting after adding K&N and FULL FLOW CAN you are minimizing the engine wear and also remember you are loosing your Fuel Efficiency toooooo........

Well as per this quote it doenst have any handshaking relation.....but there is a co-relation.......as many teeths your Rear Sprocket has......the Piston has to work hard if the rear sprocket teeths increase in number as so the stress will happen in the engine....and also gear shifting will also get varied a little bit.....

ooopppss my bad ... should have made it a bit more clear...

the bike basically becomes rev crazy... the piston delivers more power to the wheels... so you would hit the midrange very fast and all together you would hit a brick wall.. there will be decrease in your top end.. but the point where i would like to stress is the point where reaches its peak top end.. say 125kmph.. upto 100 its easy, but after that its several minutes to reach... so sprocketting with 2more rear teeth, makes u reach the 100 mark much faster by compensating the full to speed... finally, the piston really put to work only at this point and not at other ranges...
