    THE REBIRTH OF MY BEAST

    Flashback
    26th april, 2010.28th april, 2010

I woke up in the hospital in the morning. I was in my senses and fortunately I could recogonise people after the crash had happened. I met everyone who visited me and thanked everyone. I was on the way home in a taxi and started thinking that the worst was yet to come. As soon as I reached home, I saw the worst thing. My bike was shattered from the front. The front fairing was broken. Headlight was broken. The whole front end was a mess. i am grateful to my friends for bringing the bike to my house in that condition.
After my exams got over on the 2nd of may. I came back to delhi as my summer vacations had started.

    29th of june

I Came back to Bhopal and the first thing I saw was my bike. The same day I started enquiring about the insurance formalities as I knew as a student I wont be able to fix my bike without insurance. Here my parents helped me a lot. i took my bike to the centre and gave my bike to the service centre guys.

Superb! Congratulations! She looks as good as new.
Really happy for you man. Must be delightful to ride on the bike again.

What make are the rear tyres?

You spent 18k on the repairs! Is the insurance claim a part of this?

      My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

the rear tyre is a dunlop geocruiser. And yes, insurance claim is a part of this.

yes rakesh i am fine now. I hav'nt got the refund yet. The spares bill came for around 18k. As the bike is in bhopal but delhi registered, I had to pay the amount first at the service centre in bhopal, then the claim was sent to the delhi head office of my insurance company. Now the claim is still processing.I guess in a few days i will get some percentage back.

hey thank you so much. its great to know that you are from bhopal. where do you stay?? about the claim, everything was handled by my dealer itself. i think my procedures were a little different as my bike is delhi registered and the claim had to go to the delhi head office. Neways it would be best to contact your yamaha dealer. he will make an estimate and give it to the surveyor. after the surveyor checks your vehicle, he will pass on the quote to the insurance company. These things might seem a little confusing so be careful

i contact my dealer tomorrow (standard yamaha, mp ngr)
                    is it a long process?
i mean how many days do they take for the processing?

anyways, your bike looks as good as new....apache is among the best looking bikes on the road..it is also good to know that you are back on your feet.....even i will be more careful with the riding gear....unfortunately it is hard to find proper gears in our city....after the accident did anything bad happened with the engine?

i live here at hoshangabad road....
                    where do you stay?

Glad to hear that both you and your bike survived the ordeal and lived to ride another day......!
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

well it will take some time. Best is to be soft on the dealer and the surveyor. Nothing at all happened to the engine.... thank god.

                          addyrulz01,

Bro, that was the luckiest day of your life, when you survived the crash against so many odds!! Great to know that you are fine and dandy now

Just a small suggestion... the exhaust pipe looks all rusted... you might want to change that also
Twist your wrist and feel the shift!!

                          My own thoughts - Throttle
