  • Used SBKs Prices in 2010..

Hey guys, I was just guessing what would be the price of the used SBKs from 2001-2010 in normal condition, today, if one has to buy ? As it also depends upon the duty, papers and mainly the condition of the bike. Is it possible to find/buy a bike in the price range of 3.25 or 3.50 today.

@Mods: I think this can be merged with the thread http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/superbik...thread-64.html.

@MAN_UTD: You've posted a very open question! Can you please specify the bikes you'd be interested to the prices of, so that members may be able to help you out. 10 years is too long a time-frame too.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Except for Zx9R, all are 600cc bikes.

You probably wont get a 9R in that kind of price.
But the others are a distinct possibility.

Hyosung is coming with a 650 cc bike soon.
          Price expected 4.5 lakh.

used CBR 600RRs are pretty easy to find in bombay.
                      and a pre 2005 bike will cost u about 3.25 to 3.75...
but the paperwork for these bikes are virtually never clean.
                      tread with caution.

a 2005-2006 onwards 600RR tho is a better bike... way better specs.
will cost u about 4.5 lac ish.

                        Ask yourself
Is it worth spending 4.5 on a used bike, when you can get a new one for 5?

                            Exactly
The rumoured(almost confirmed, as I respect Bike India's scoops) Hyosung 650

@MAN_UTD: Great thread buddy! I had similar questions in my mind and wanted to start a thread on it soon but was not sure where to put it. This thread will help all of us future superbike buyers to start saving their buck

But can the quality of a Hyosung be compared to a Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki or a Suzuki?

I say this because I remember reading a comparo between the GT250R and the Ninja 250 on xBhp some long time ago and the Ninja was a clear winner since the GT250R had a lot of quality issues.
