It's laudable that HH is probably the only manufacturer in the world which gets away with tagging old machines as all-new and still is able to catch people's fancies!!

^^^ Loud applause; In this way, HH will run out of business in longer run, while Bajaj will emerge as market leader followed by TVS (note that I'm not fan of Bajaj).

Why can't HH take some bold step like what they did in 99 with CBZ?

I feel it is very unlikely. As long as the masses in India decide to buy bikes on mileage, durability and reliability, HH is gonna thrive well.

I wish we had something like FTC, i would be the first one to complain about HH. This guys are fooling public by mild cosmetic updates and changing the name of their bike and relaunching it.

Well, I strongly agree with you on the fact that motorcycles sells mainly on mileage, durability & reliability.

However, looking on the facts, Pulsars are young compared to Splendor; the only thing that Pulsar is lacking is the serious mileage compared to HH. If Bajaj provides that, trust me, HH will be overtaken immediately. Oh!!! yes, Bajaj will also have to improve upon their service & quality.

How does price difference of over 10k sound to you across two identical models(with same underpinnings) having slightly altered looks. (Passion Plus/Splendor w.r.t CD Deluxe).

To me, it looks like plain daylight robbery/cheating.

the bhp figures and torque produced differs even though all have same engine 97.2 cc that does make difference

Of-course, if we had FTC kind of govt group, this guys would be busy paying the government tons of money by now. This is one place, Indian govt fail at earning money.
