Lucky you. But if you still have your options open, you should go for the S1000RR. It smokes both your choices(No offense there). But it finally tears down to your decision. Enjoy!

Inspite of being a die hard R1 fan, I totally agree with Iron Bro here. The fully loaded S1000RR is the bike to go for as of this date. It's fun, it's fanatic, it's futuristic and every bit safe a bike of that prowess can be.

But as Iron Bro said, the final choice should be yours, but do review the S1000RR once before making the final decision.

          Got my garage a godzilla

Actually i was planning to buy hayabusa or r1 2010 model..was highly confused between the two king of bikes..but thought to buy hayabusa as it is more suited to city riding coz of its sitting comfort & handling..no doubt r1 is real awesome beauty..

But,my elder brother had other plans..and put on a total surprise for me..i totally did not expect this to happen..

He had ordered something that was godzila of superbikes..totally uncommon and rarest species..hehe..

The bike has all features like c-abs with ebd, massaging seat back flip, big foot rest,6 modes, cruise control, music system...and lastly...mass attention in the crowd..

I am attaching a pic in which my bro is riding the bike & one fellow rider is behind..this is on a sunday ride on highways around 7.30am..i am taking pic from car..we are 10 bikers..

I wish i could meet you all guys...:d

          good day all...

Do You Ever need a Stand when you park this Godzilla in your garage. i bet the garage shud be more 100*200 Sq ft area....lol
THat is a dream pic man dream pic.. Enjoy every bit of that mean looking Godzilla.

And for the Question you asked I vote along with Iron-man BMW is the name to look for. an Alternative if you can then also try for RSV Aprilla. yet a contender for BMW which will smoke away R1 and Busa.
Patience is something you admire in the driver behind you and scorn in the one ahead..

r1 would have a decent buy, anyhow congo for your current bike.
