    HD Cruiser Spied in Gurgaon: xBhp News

    People in Team-bhp has spied a new Cruiser. They could not identify it perhaps xbhpians could.

    Spotted these two bikes on my way to work.

    I guess, it is some "To be launched" cruiser under testing.

    Assumed, it to be a Harley but I'm told, it is NOT.

    Topic Approved.

    This could very well be the budget Indian model that Harley might be planning. But if that Huge V Twin is Harley's idea of a "budget model", no wonder the Brand will always have a High Value!

    Let's hope it gets launched. And what's that Saree guard on the right side of the bike?

      Gurgaon - Faridabad toll road, near the Army camp. Definitely Harley from the looks of the V shaped cylinder. From the height & built of the rider, it seems not to be a big one. Budget Cruiser?!

          I saw these bikes the other day, went by too fast for me to be sure as they were on the opposite lane, but I would place my bet on them being Harleys. I wish I could have caught up with them....

            They don't look anything like the Yamaha Bolt.. it is probably the Harley's Budget bike.. any idea how much they are trying to get these beasts sold at?

              the shape of the mirrors
              the curve of the exhaust closer to the "v" arm closer to the seat
              the front forks
              the headlamp & speedo positioning
              the massive-yet-mid-size "v"
              ...hint of a HD.
              the rear shockabs tho, are eerily identical to the ones on an avenger tho!

                I am sure its a camouflaged baby of some HD . Reasons???

                >The V-twin Angle
                >Saree guard (both sides) ala Super Glide Custom
                >HR has HD factory (HR 99 is the temp no. given to all test vehicles in HR)
                >It looks like shaft driven (though not 100% sure from the pic)
                >The rear LEDs are very HDish

                Only doubt - Harleys are not known to make country specific motorcycles .
                AFAIK the engine looks definitely more than 250cc .

                  That's in past. India being a HUGE market for every vehicle manufacturer, coming up with some India specific bike which will carry the HD legacy & will be cheaper makes more sense as it will attract a lot of customer rather than focussing on a small group of customer.

                    I admit it looks a bit like Bolt. It may be Bolt but again, why will Yamaha be testing its latest Bolt in India? Just doesn't make sense.


                    Again, Yamaha has a plant in Faridabad. & HD has a location in Gurgaon. So, a Haryana number proves nothing. BTW All temporary registrations in Haryana will be from the HR-99 Series which means we can't narrow it down to a particular district.


                    I think it does not have to be too cheap: That would kill something in HD's appeal. But if its around or above 4 Lacs, I wouldn't consider Harley losing anything from it.

                      Definitely not the Bolt. The Bolt has a very different Tank. Not to mention that the engine assembly is different.

                        Could it be a Hyosung? Though it's definitely not the GV250, unless they have heavily camouflaged it with decoy panels! Is it just me or are the indicators the Yamaha R1/ FZ's?

                        I too admit there are HD signs- particularly the wheels and that orange reflector on front fork.
