Bangalore G2G - Rajyotsava November 1 - Dodda Aalada Mara


Hi Y'all,

Time for another trip..[8D]
We have a holiday on November 1st as it is the Kannada Rajyotsava (Karnataka was created [:I] on that day from Mysore state) we can have a meet on that day..

The Big Banyan Tree (Dodda Aalada Mara in the local parlance) lies at about 25 kilometres from Bangalore. It is a collection of Ficus Benghalensis trees which have merged together and is said to be more than 400 years old and covers about 3-4 acres!! [:0]


Plan is simple:

We leave at 9 AM on that day to Dodda Aalada Mara..
After reaching do TP stuff pics (stunts if feasible) and return by lunch time...

Straight and simple.. Now who's game for it??
