Hii,

Currently its very hard to find it any store as its out of production(source: videocon cust care) tried in many stores in blore with out luck, bought mine from Indiatimes shopping @ 5250(4999+250 for shipping).
almost 3 months owning it and its great.
Pro's
1)GPS, and other features you'd never find in any phone at this price range
2)Battery backup, haveused gps for 8-10hrs on many occasions with a single full charge.
3)sturdy
4)Torch
5)MFD
6)water resistant(not water proof though)

Con's
1) Non android
2) bad at picking signals
3) screen prone to scratches and pain to view in sunny conditions
4) takes ages to charge-2-3hrs, for a full charge.
5) Bulky to a extent.

Even with its cons, its a great mobile to own at this range and a must own to adventure lovers and tourers.

You are perhaps the only guy who noticed that instead of noticing the girl's face/assets.

I have used this phone for an year and primarily for touring(without SIM). Was of great help in my Saddlesore and Bun Burner rides. Precision in rural area was impressive(unlike Nokia Ovi maps and Google maps). However, the Ui is not as intuitive as Google maps. Nearby POIs was of great help though. I had bought the phone for 8500 , when it was launched. Recently lost the phone and was looking for a similar handy and rugged GPS with preloaded maps. Did a fair bit of research and found that V6200 was still best fit for my requirements. Ordered one from Online Shopping in India, Shop Online and Compare Price - Compare and Shop Online in India for Mobiles, Laptops, Cameras, Automobiles for 5K and the phone was shipped after loooong waiting period. To add to the troubles, GPS was not working. Had a fair bit of trouble and headache tracking refund. After a month of troubles, I finally got this phone from much reliable Online Shopping, Cameras, Laptops, Home Appliances, Mobile Phones, Air conditioner, Online Shopping India, Best Deals, Deals in India. It was shipped in 3 days by FeDex and costed just 5k. I am enjoying the phone again.

The phone is good for what its worth.

But the After Sales Service is absolutely rubbish.

When my phone was in the warranty period, the Map My India software got deleted. I went to the service centre, assuming that they will load the software on and I will be done in 10 minutes. Because after all it was a 10 minutes job. But these guys didn't have the software with them. They told me to leave the phone and pick it up a week later. Weeks passed, months passed. After 5 months I got my phone back. They returned it after removing my 4GB memory card and replaced it with a 2 GB memory card. They took out the battery of my phone which used to give me backup of atleast a week and put in a battery which lasts just 5-10 hours. After complaining again, they changed my battery twice, both times with old batteries which didn't work either.

Now the U.P head for Service told me not to expect any better from Videocon. So we have a Customer Care, which doesn't care to reply. A Service Centre which is incapable of servicing and Service Managers who tell you to be happy with whatever services you get.

A pathetic state of affairs.
