Took the XCD 135 for a test ride.. no intentions of buying it but took it for a spin just for the heck of it.

nice bike actually. good commuter, nice engine sound, nimble handling... and i did an easy halfclutch wheelie on first test, shocks are good.
horns are horribly feeble, gear lever is small, so tough to liftup for gearshift, has the all-down patter instead of one-up, four-down, plastics on handlebar same as that of discover i guess...
i personally didnt like the teardrop/leafy/whatever designed pilot lamps.

Have ridden the new XCD135 too. After a long time, Bajaj has come out with a very nice commuter bike. It looks nice, is sufficiently powerful and fast and still returns good economy figs. Plus the low price tag

OT: Has any one in Pune heard of that ad being heard on radio : Bajaj is claiming that if any one takes a test ride of the XCD135 and still goes and buy any other bike, they will refund the money / gift the XCD to him!

Is it so?? In the television ad, they are claiming to pay the price of the bike that we purchase after riding a dtssi 135. Good chance to get an R1??
