Default TVS starcity100/110/starsports

hey guyz i was looking through ownership experiences.. but surprisingly i did not find star city in the list..so thought to start one..
my bike is a 2006 star city....30k km till date....
i had variety of experiences with my bike...i have taken it for few trips too..
positives:
1]bike is well suited for indian roads.rough and tough bike.
2]good mileage
3]good low end torque
4]good handling abilities
5]biggest fuel tank among 100cc.
negatives:
1]vibrations.i hate vibrations to the core.
parts replaced till now:
1]clutch plate[i ripped many times]
2]rear tire
3]front mud guard[hit an auto at 50kmph]

all starcity owners here wake up.. share your experiences..
i will post a few pics later...
happy biking xbhpians............

Star Owners rejoice. In the recent 0-80-0 test conducted by Bike India, the Star Sports has taken the top honours in its segment!!

Verdict:King of commuter class traffic light GPs!!

hi guys , my bro owns a star city and he's really unhappy about the rear tyre of it , he's been wanting to change it from the stock TVS tyres but unable to decide on which is the best tyre for the bike ... does about 60km a day .

My dad too has a star city ES (that was the only 100-cc bike with ES when we got it) The rear tvs tyre are just adequate for star city, nothing to boast about , I have changed it to MRF zappers y. Its better than the tvs OE tyre.

My dad rides it at 40 km/h and says that he too gets around 70 kmpl. what I like about this bike is its low end torque and good headlight. I have tried to rip this bike and there is considerable vibration once you go past 65 km/h . The bike does best what it is designed for -- commute. The quality of parts need to improve (Compare it to any HH bike and you would know) and TVS should work on this.
