Bajaj Auto has launched its new Boxer 150 motorcycle, with an engine capacity of 150-cc, in the Egyptian market.

The Boxer 150 is equipped with ExhausTec technology, which is environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient, the company said in a statement.

Looks like Bajaj auto is always on the lookout for opportunities in the overseas markets. From the article it seems like Egypt market is dominated by cheap chinese bikes at the moment.

Bajajs major export market is from african continent, so launching boxer 150 in Egypt market makes sense. I think this is the first export market for this bike.

Even TVS and Hero are eyeing this continent for good export sales.

Boxer will surely come out with flying colors in African desert . May b some survival R&D like too much of heat & sand be transffered to engines in near future .

I think Bajaj will never stop itself from giving us back Indians .

The Boxer 150 is already available here in Tanzania for a good amount of time now. Other Bajaj bikes like Platina, CT100, Pulsar 135, Pulsar 150 are also popular here.

Even TVS has its presence here. Have seen the Apache RTR 160/180, and also the TVS Star.
No Hero/ Hero Honda bikes spotted yet!
