Its just a technological showcase. The company has not plans to sell it is seems. Too bad, would have made a great bike. I like it even more since it resembles the Panigale with some of its lines.

I think these is the future biking technology
"Life is all about burning petrol and the most efficient way to do so is by riding a bike"
"A man who dreams of being an astronaut or a pilot, is yet to drive a motorcycle."

good to read abt such concepts but they are just that i.e. 'concepts'
till the time the rechargeable battery form factor is revolutionized to be of portable sizes & weights, the electric powered vehicles will be largely a misnomer.
current technology limitations result in batteries that are humongous in size as in comparison to the charge they carry, plus are extremely bulky to heave around AND take their own sweet time to recharge to full.
a lot of work is already going on in this domain & a break thru is expected in another decade for sure.
but till then... i will be happy riding my internal combustion machines running on fossil fuel... thank u very much!

Rightly said especially the time taken to fully recharge is quite an obstacle. Moreover it will be not useful for long rides I guess.

Getting angry at somebody is the same as getting angry with a bike that just won't go. You should stop and start thinking.

This bike looks good and the electrical based motor are the future on our planet Earth, but I will be slightly old timer here, because the kind of adrenaline rush gives you a gasoline based engine that can't be in the electrical motors. I love the sound of the bike, the way it roars on the street. That will completely fade away with these. Unless they provide you some kind of sound system in your bike which imitate the sound of the engine.

You will have a completely different experience if you ride a Daytona 675R. And on contrary if you ride a electric bike then you can imagine the quick fame Yo bikes, which will pass by you and you wont even notice it.

Just go through this link and listen to the sound of the 675R
