Dude can u tell me where are you form, I think I will now have to be a lil rough with the paras yamaha guys. I can give ur example to these people. Because uptill now they said bike chaiye to le jao. Now what the Fish happened.

I am from Pune. May be because of your booking date they are delaying..you booked on 16-17th something right? I booked on 10th..neways..check it once with your dealer..let me also collect the bike today evening..will then update the thread..

Exclamation Finally got "Booking No" message from Yamaha
Guys,

Finally got my booking number in a message from Yamaha! How many days did it take between the SMS and the delivery for you lucky guys who got it delivered?

Plus, I'll feel screwed if the Yamaha 220/250cc is launched within a month of my getting this bike (if at all they care to deliver it to me!!).

booked the bike on 19th july , no sms yet. The only response i got form the showroom is , "Bikes ka shortage hai, jaise hi bike unload ho jayegi hum aapko call karenge". I asked "fir bhi kitna din lag jayega" , response "10 - 15 din pakad ke chalo"

It will take at least 15-20 days more..so chill mar and yeah..don worry I personally don't feel that YAMAHA will launch 220/250 cc in coming few months..because it will only hamper market of Fazer and R15...I believe that firstly they are going to consolidate their position in this segment which is mainly dominated by Bajaj Pulsar and HH products...so keep your finger crossed...and if you are so bullish for 220/250 cc segment..then you should have gone for Pulsar 220 or ZMA...there is no comparison in these two categories...

Be patient...I booked my bike on 10th July and got it on 12th August so you can estimate your excitement time...

Haan, trying to be patient, but the showroom guys are completely clueless!! They are refusing to commit to absolutely any timeframe!! Thanks for the information bro!

Well, I had decided to stick to Honda/Yamaha, and with the Unicorn so long in the tooth, the FZ/Fazer was the only choice for me. Launch of a new model is not a problem for me. Can swap and upgrade later. But, the only irritating part is the wait for the old model + the possibility of a new model coming around so soon!!
