  • Sad demise of Hitesh Baghel (Agra)

Hitesh Baghel a very good rider, winner of Yamaha Ridetech Challenge on 22nd March, 2009 (drag winner, straight line slow winner) and came 4th position on Circuit racing with his R15. A very wonderful person and very well behaved.

A very nice person, yes I met him on my Agra trip. A person who was just 20yrs old and a great rider & stunter for his age. A person who always used to respect others whether its while riding or while talking to anyone, irrespective of the age.

Hitesh Bhagel was a xBhpian member for long, but after the server crashed he did'nt log in again. But his passion for riding never stopped. He got his first bike blue R15 for himself and his bike was recognised by "MASQUERADE RYDERZ". His biking passion was always encouraged by Abhishek Gupta ( xBhpian ID: Deadly Biker) he used to follow him and his tips was always respected by Hitesh. Hitesh was neighbour of Abhishek Gupta. Hitesh always used to dream of Superbikes and wanted to particiapte in circuit racing in South India. And hence he bought R15 for himself. He was one of the top most stunter in Agra.

His biking was incredible, he always used to believe in safe riding. He had all the necessary riding gear with himself. And he wore it always while going for rides or G2Gs.

His first accident happened on 22nd April, 2009. The day Finals of Passion Hunt was supposed to start at New Delhi. Now Abhishek Gupta was among the top 10 Finalist of this Mega event. Hitesh left Agra in the morning at 8am on the same day to cheer up Abhishek in the Finals. But at 9:30am near Mathura he met with an accident. His bike was completely damaged and it is still lying at Yamaha Service Ceneter, Agra, the Pillion was a friend of Hitesh who lost his life on spot. Hitesh's left thighs were injured but he was saved by God.

Now again on 21st August, 2009 he went to get R15 from his friend. he was participating in Yamaha Ridetech Challenge which happened yesterday on 23rd August, 2009. He got the bike serviced and got it all ready for the Challenge. He was riding a bike after 3 months as due to previous accident his parents didnt allow him to ride and also that he didnt had his own bike. On 22nd August, 2009 he went to practice on R15 as to see how much confidence he has with this bike of his friend. He was wearing full riding gear and practicing when he again met with an accident.
He was again riding on 22nd, again a blue R15, again with full riding gear - but this time God didnt spare him.
He was on an empty road, riding around 80kmph when all of a sudden a boy with bicycle came on the road in front of him ( like how a t-shape is made ). The boy was small and was riding a big cycle which went out of his control. Hitesh crashed with the cycle and then with divider and then with the nose the bike toppled 4 times ( as the witness said ) he was taken by God at the same moment. The boy on the cycle was minorly injured and was taken care by locals.

SO lets get together to pray for his soul and his family to overcome this shear loss and sorrow. His absence would be a big loss to all of us as well. He was one of the most enthusiastic rider participating in almost all the events in North India. We would have definately seen him on circuits in South India and may be on a Superbike as well, as his family was always supportive of his biking passion.

    God Bless his soul!!!

Save the Earth - We are the one who are running out of time, as Earth will take it own time to heal but that time may not be enough for us.

May his soul rest in peace

It is indeed a sad loss to the biking community.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

This is a very sad news. I remember watching these pics before and hearing about an accident on the Passion Hunt Final's day. Seems to be really a bad omen for Hitesh to be struck by an unfortuante series of mishappenings. May God rest his soul in peace and give his family the strength to bear the loss.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

This is really bad and unfair. He was indeed a very well mannered young man. My god give strength to his family to deal with this unthinkable loss.

Very sad news, may his soul RIP.

Those who have read the post, there's a clear underlying message to performance bikers from Hitesh's demise...."Ride responsibly, if you want to see thrilling three figures on the dash, kindly head to broad, clear, straight highway and satisfy your adernaline rush"...."Not on streets".

This is sad. A young life has been cut short. I remember Hitesh having spent a day with him in Agra and another in Lucknow where he rode over to participate in the Passion Hunt. A gentle and courteous young man, so full of life and so very enthusiastic about motorcycling.

My heartfelt condolences to his family. Hard to imagine how they will cope with such a terrible loss.

And I believe it would be equally terrible if not more for Abhishek. Hitesh was like a younger brother to him. May God give them all the strength to bear with this dreadful and pitiless face of death. RIP Hitesh.
I don't let my motorcycles interfere with my motorcycling...

Very very sad news. Although, I didn't get an opportunity to meet him ever, but from what I have heard (and ofcourse read in this thread), he seemed to be a real nice guy.

May God rest his soul in peace.
