its not so easy buddy..
the leh trip is the toughest trip one can do on a bike in india..
one must have prior experience or if its ur 1st trip, u require super human endurance/stamina to tk this trip.. i mean it..
also the more the riders, more the tension.. i know it coz i just went thru this sunday,on the 100km+ 20 rider drive..its diff to manage so many ppl.. riders tend to drive rashly, tend to drive too close to the bike in front (which can be disasterous if the front biker wants to brake suddenly)
there r just too many complications in all dis..
such a long trip with so many riders has to planned very very well..

even alone is not a good option.. sometimes u tend to feel very lonely and it gets diff to kill time.. a grp of 2-4 is a good option..

Recently one of my colleagues went for a trip to laddakh on his bike. Acfording to him, it was the best 20 days of his life.
but for it to be successful one must have complete knowledge of his/her bike and must be able to do minor repairs by himself. besides that, there are very few indian bikes which can survive such tough roads and conditions. prior experience is a must.

Anoop I did my trip to leh all by myself on my bike and yes a very true to say that it is the best of life time.
But not to forget if you think you can challenge nature beware you never know what is up next and can be from anywhere. As far as it goes with repair yes there is no mechanic or help after Manali and beware especially if you are driving alone take enough of fuel(for people on bullets) -
And anoop I did it on my CBZ you can check through the following post if you want to

well i agree with u bunny but well u have to get started sometime... if not Leh why not some nice village abt 300-400 kms with 15-20 riders. besides all do not have to ride together. we can move in batches of 5 or 6 ppl. the point is to have experience and have fun. if u have a bike i think one shd go for it sometime or the other. wat say ppl. i'll see some good place around leh... or manali and the respective requisites for the trip. u ppl do the same. we can make it around 20th july bfore most col. start.
