    Enjoyin beaches, waterfalls and Backwaters

    Riders- Mibhin & Dustin(My Colleague)
    Ride - Dustins P200

    Destination - Kerala

We had planned thsi trip to the GOD'S OWN COUNTRY long time back but were not able to do due to leave constraints. So this time we planned to do this trip during our Week offs. We work in a BPO and since our Process is a 24/7 one so our offs were on Tuesday & Wednesday, we planned of leaving towards kerala on Monday afternoon after finishing our Shifts.

Both of us got out of office By 12 first we took our luggage from our respective places and went to another friends place to borough his bag, coz he had a big trekking bag which could carry a lot of luggage. Then exactly at one we started towards Hosur Road. The traffic was heavy and the SUN was on our head, bright and HOT.

Somehow none of us can see the pictures! It says Beaches, Waterfalls and what not... I opened the thread and could not find much of any of that.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

3 Pics are updated in the 1st post.

We Reached Hosur at Around 2 and filled up the tank and Again we started the Krishnagiri Roads are smooth like butter to rip around, Reached Dharmapuri at 3:30 and stopped for lunch at a hotel close to the lone traffic signal in Dharmapuri.

We Started bak at 4 from there and Reached mettur at around 5:30 jus before sunset to click some pics of the Dam, Then From there It was Rip fest for us. After we passed bhavani it started pouring, we stopped for 10 mins and luckily it stopped and then it was non stop until coimbatore, reached there by 8, had a tea in coimbatore and then again started towards palakkad and reached there by 9 and had a half an hour break there, then it was a hell ride from there untill trichur coz the roads are 2 lane ones and with pot holes and all the busses towards Bangalore & chennai will come with high beam on and they drive like if they own that road. We followed few cars which had good headlight to illuminate our way too and which is going at speeds of 70-80kmph.

Finally exactly by 12 midnight we reached my cousins place in Chalakudi to end the days trip. Had Nice Kerala style chicken and rice and slept off.

                    DAY 2

Since we slept only by 1:30 am previous night i woke up only by 9 and By 10:30 we were ready to head to Allepey, We kept our luggage at my cousins place and took things necessary to play in water(towel, shorts etc etc), after having a proper kerala breakfast(Puttu and Kadala), we started towards allepey........

                    To be continued...

                      Chalakudi - allepey 90km

We filled up petrol and continued our journey towards just before reaching ernakulam we took the BYpass to allepey and the Road was still under construction so it was Dusty and the scorching sun and traffic made it hard to ride... When we were jus 30kms short of allepey we took a butt break as well as smoke break too.. we strated chatting to the shop guy about beaches before allepey and he suggested to go to beaches 10 km before allepey, he also told us that these are village beaches, u have to find ur own way to reach there or ask the locals if there is some....

When we were jus 12kms short of allepey we took a right turn asked for the beach and the villagers guided us to a beach and the sight we saw was jus marvellous(pics will do threst of talking), The beach had around jus 5-7 people around there but i think those were the villagers.... we thought continuing on the road next to beach and find a virgin one, where there wont be anyone at all and we found one jus few kms down the lane and it was jus a paradise... we played around in the sea and clicked some pics and lazed around for 3 hrs there, Then We headed to allepy to have our lunch, we had a chilled beer first and and then we had our lunch, it was pretty costly but the food was awesome...

then We headed towards ponamada kayal... there at ponamada kayal we could see house boats of all sizes, ther were house house boats with 5 bedrooms also and the tourist were filled like bee's, we went and asked for a boat ride of an hour or so around the backwater and they dropped a bomb on us by telling it will cost us 2000rs for 2 of us, v bargained an they were not going down below 1500rs since it was tourist season and they can find anyone else if not us... so we also cancelled the plan of boat ride and then we roamed around in the allepey city, the roads here are very small... We thought going to the beach but this time the allepey beach and as we went there, we got surprised by seeing the crowd, we parked and headed to the water but it was hard to do any thing there coz it was crowded like Kovalam,

We started back towards cochin at 5 and reached cochin by 6 and then for one hour it was roaming on the galli's of cochin coz we lost our way to Fort kochi and we were going to all the streets posssible but after one hour search we finally found it...

We sat near the beach deciding our next day plans and started back and reached home by 10.... had food and slept off...
