      DAy 3

We woke up early and we roam around in the village to take some pics and then we headed to athirapilly falls which is 23kms from my cousins place.

We took few pics of the first view of the falls and straightly headed to Vaazhachaal falls... we parked our bike and went there inside, they have put fences at some places near water coz there has been many accidents happening there after a quick photo session we went back to athirapilly and after taking 2 - 3 photos of the falls... we went downstairs more closer to the falls.. this place was like heaven, the sound of waterfall is like a big continous roar of some animal and the water with the light breeze makes u feel refreshing...

After taking some pics we started back and it was already 12 and we are supposed to go ride back to bangalore, we came back home took a bath and packed our bag said bye to my cousin and headed towards trichur city coz we needed to pull out cash from HDFC ATM and went searching for it and got 3 HDFC ATM but all were out of order so we tried SBI & Punjab bank ATM even they were out of service, for one moment i thought is it hartal for ATM's coz kerala is famous for hartals...

Finally in one indian bank ATM we got money and to our surprise it dispensed 50rs notes also.....

After removing the cash we went to have some lunch and stopped at a hotel and the food was the worst i had in kerala and we left it eaten and came off.

our initial plan to come back was through wayanad and as it was already 4:30 pm we thought of taking the ooty route and started to wards coimbatore and we reached coimbatore at 7:30pm. we go delayed due to heavy traffic and took a break as soon as we entered the city and it was a ride full of tensions to cross coimbatore city, coz we encountered many people who jumped infront of our bike while crossing the road making us break hard everytime and we also encountered many wannabe Rossi's on their 75cc TVS as well as on their 100 c bikes

We reached mettupalayam at 9:30pm and stopped near black thunder water theme park to have our dinner but the food wasnt that great...
we started towards ooty at 10:15 pm and started climbing the ghats and and the weather started changing drastically... we reached a smmal checkpost where cops were checking every possible vehicle but we managed to sneak through and further on the way it was getting hard for us due to cold and it started raining lightly making the weather more cold and we were shivering coz we were not prepared for the cold climate. we stopped at tea shop near a bridge and had tea and smoke to keep us little warm and wen the rain stopped we started again and when we were jus 6kms short of ooty it started pouring and the time was 11:15pm and we stopped at a bus stop to take shelter, and we took out all the Tshirts we had from the bag and wore it one over the other and we sat in the bus stops with our helmets still on our head, we also had a quick nap of half an hour.

After the rain stopped we again moved towards ooty and had some coffe there and started searching for some places to stay coz it was damn cold and we were getting freezed without any clothing to prevent cold and finally we got a room at 12 for jus 300rs and it was the dirtiest a hotel room could ever be... but we were helpless..1st thing i did after enterin the room was that i took out deo and sprayed it all over the place and slept even without removing our shoes.

      DAY 4

We woke up at 5:30 am and left that place ASAP and continued towards the kalhatti - masinagudi route and had tea on the way in masinagudi and we stopped next only just before mysore for a small break and again we stopped at srirangapatna for some breakfast and reached bangalore exactly by 11am

              nice travelogue dear.
but " Chalakudi - allepey 90km" is not correct.
from alappuzha to ernakulam itself is around 75kms.so alpy-chldy will be around125kms .

I think you dint took the route through valpara towards coimbatore? (aana chavitti chavandaa alle? ) I read some dare devil tried that route too!
