Thanks,pranay!!

I am still learning to properly tonemap those HDRs.But instead i saturate them more so as to make them more eye-catching. Kya karoon, i am still an amateur in that department!!

thanx for sharing the beautiful pictures.....

HDRI work very well where there is a play of light and shadow and there is a good depth of the subject. The NGC series is really good... loved it...

forgot to mention about the sky.... it's a beutiful one and try HDRI out of it and also BW.....
Thanks, debarpita!!

I think that day might be an off-day for the naxals. Point taken about the HDRs.I just wanted to take 3 different exposure shots without stressing on the location/lightings.Will definitely implement your suggestion, next time!!

Glad that you liked the NGC pic!!

Thanks, buddy!!

Getting a proper HDR is quite difficult.I remember how much time it took to get a proper palatable HDR after series of trying.I am yet to post the HDRs shot during the return trip.Do keep a track on this thread.I am sure you will like those.

And man,Orissa has some stunning landscapes/places which most of us are not even aware of.Had the govt been proactive in marketing those places people would have surely known about em.Btw, there is this place named Daringibadi-another 20kms from Kalinga which is touted as Darjeeling of Orissa as the temp drops to below 0 degrees and it actually snows out there!!

Interesting!!
Thanks, Gourabh!!

Orissa is even famous for waterfalls but sadly those places are situated in the interior parts of the state which are the most poverty stricken and hence no proper transportation and accomodation facilties. But still, OTDC has opened small cottages and hotels to boost tourism.I have almost made up my mind to explore every nook and corner of the state once i get a new bike for my own.

I am using Canon A590IS.NGC stands for National Geographic Channel!!

Well, this can't be termed as touring as i covered only 73kms.Btw, i have many high speed runs into my account tried by my 110cc Victor.Did 310kms in a day in a trip to Mysore from Bangalore.A distance of 130kms was covered in exactly 2 hours. But still a big touring plan has always been doing rounds in my mind , which i would make it happen someday!!

Thanks, xeno!!

Online tutorials and some stray visits to the photography thread in xBhp helped me build up my skills. The HDR shots are still far cry from what most people shoot but camera of mine is only a point-n-shoot type and i am still an amateur.

Arrey Orissa mein log 100cc nahi chalate kya. Btw, i forgot to mention the tryst with a FZ on the ghats. Will include that in the return triplog!!

loved all the pic....esp the HDR ones......my god i was drowsy and at an instant i was all up after seeing the over coloured pic

Been wanting to take my CBR(my splendor) for some 100-150kms ride for quiet a while now but i just could not manage to start! and its returning 43-45kmpl these days!

have clocked 250kms once inside the city and 350+ on the higways once......splendor can take this torture!

73kms. or 730kms. doesn't really matter. What DOES matter is your enthusiasm! I mean seriously tell me - how many of us 'hardcore bikers' (that we perhaps like to term us) would even THINK of taking a "meager" 100cc machine just for the fun of it! Hardly anyone, really. You did it, and that in itself is pretty commendable. Kudos!
