xBhp Bangalore ride to Munnar March 27-29 - xBhp.com : The Global Indian Biking Community

Well the title gives it off. We had been on a ride to Munnar for three days. It was a lovely relaxed ride covering about 1150kms in 3 days. The riders were:

1. Sunil (Comet)
2. Sumit (Comet)
3. Prabhu (Comet)
4. Srikeerthi (Karizma)
5. Ajay (Karizma)
6. Arjun (Pulsar 200)
7. Jenson (Thunderbird)
8. Mohit (FZ16)

The route taken:
Day 1: Bangalore - Hosur - Krishnagiri - Dharmapuri - Salem - Tirupur - Udumalpet - Munnar
Day 2: Around Munnar and Devikulam
Day 3: Munnar - Udumalpet - Palladam - Satyamangalam - Chamarajnagar - Mysore - Bangalore

How was the weather there? I was off to Wayanad for the weekend.

And don't you agree that the state highways in Kerala are so well maintained !

Weather was cool around Munnar and obscenely hot elsewhere in TN.

About the roads... anywhere is better than Karnataka :P

. even i visited Wayanad - Sulthan Bathery this weekend and the roads were good especially the one inside the santuary

220 was keen to join but had already made plans to go North instead of South!

A fantastic trip. Thanks to all the guys for making this a memorable one.
Mohit is my brother and isn't an xbhp member.
It was a special trip for him because it was his birthday when we started the trip.
While logs are coming I would like to say, I am impressed with FZ16. It was able to keep up with the larger CC bikes. Rock solid on the flat highways and even better in the curvy roads of munnar. And yes Hats off to the rider too

Jenson also not an xbhp member. It was nice riding/interacting with you. Hope to see you in more trips

Sksy, Nice to meet you in person. You are surely a damn good rider, respect you for that.

Prabhu, Our hard core tourer, Hats off to you riding spirits man. Never short of enthusiasm and zeal to ride

Arjun, it was nice to ride with you pal. Hope your bleeding from the leg stopped (leech attack)

Ajay, it was to ride with you again after a long time. Will chat with you more once the MotoGP starts again

It surely feels good to be back on the roads after six months
