Default Trivandrum to thekkady - April'09

On the 10th of April, me and few of my friends planned to go to Thekkady.

Thekkady is situated near the kerala-tamilnadu border, around 260kms from Trivandum. The Periyar Tiger reserve is situated in thekkady, also it has a artificial lake inside the reserve which adds charm to the park.

The route we took was:
Trivandrum - Ayoor - Anchal - Punalur - Pattanamthitta - Erumali - Mundakkayam - Kuttikanam - Peermade - Thekkady

On the way we stopped at Peermade. The landscape of Peermade includes spectacular waterfalls, open grass lands and pine forests. But the waterfalls was when we went so could get any pictures.

Then went on to thekkady and stayed there overnight. Next morning we left for boating at 6am, it was an awesome sight.

Then we left from Thekkady to Vagamon. Vagamon is an enchanting hill station located on the Idukki-Kottayam border, dotted with gardens and beautiful meadows.

We left from Vagamon around evening and left to Trivandrum via kottayam. On the whole it was an awesome tour and sorry for the half-baked write up.
