      Any idea about the lodging rates @ Thekkady, and the Road conditions towards Thekkady?

      I'm riding down to Thekkady and Munnar next wednesday.. Would be helpful to plan up my trip..

      By d way, Is it still raining there ?

        lodging is available at all rate, the place I stayed was near the Periyar Wildlife called 'Ranger Wood' it cost 1500 per day.

        The roads are pretty good and i'm not sure about the climate.

          congrats 4the trip.... im from kottayam... i think u missed so many gud places on the way 2thekkady via mundakayam , like panchalimedu, gavi, murinzhapuzha, parunthumpara etc...
          wel can u people suggest me some gud places near 2u 4 me 2 have a trip

                  wow.. very nice pics dude.. real enchanting beauty of thekkady captured well. Thekkady has many other activities, like trekking day and night.. night trekking inside the forest is very great.. they also have bamboo rafting from morning 7 pm to evening 5 pm. Next time you plan to go then try out.
