Bike: P200 (March 2009)
Service Center: Jai Bajaj, Adyar Chennai
No. of Services: 5 free services.
Customer Experience:
Customer handling: POOR. They listen intently while you give it for service, note down everything, but wait, its not over yet . I have done 4 of my free services here, and each time, there was something or the other where they screwed up. I guess, The only trick is to make friends with one of the service supervisors, and pray to get the job done to your satisfaction.

Only during my last service was I a bit satisfied, since I made sure I stayed in front of the bike, while it was being serviced. Otherwise I'd normally have to listen to their hogwash of excuses as to why stuff was not done, as instructed.

One another thing, They actually charged me approx 100/- INR every time I asked them to clean/lubricate the chain, I was like WTF??? Its a free service and it is their f#kkin JOB!! and I know it should be free, because I have serviced it once at Bangalore Hoodi junction Khivraj PBK, and I was not charged a penny.

Its not just this, every time I give it for a free service, they charege me for something or the other, nuts/bolts etc etc.

This one time, I had asked them to replace my bar weights after an accident, and they ended up putting the 220 ones on my 200. When I told them about this, they actually argued with me, saying these come with the new 200's, I was like, yeah rite... Mine is just 7 months old, and AFAIK there is no so called NEW version. Finally I went upto the parking lot, and pointed out a bunch of 200's, and 220's to the service supervisor to get this into his no-brain head.

There was an issue with my front fork, and it has still not been rectified, after two services (actually I hear a clicking noise in the front forks or handle bars? when I use the front brakes)

The customer service is VERY VERY poor, its like they DO NOT give a damn once you buy the bike, u're on your own after that.

Also it is advisable NEVER to give your bike for servicing on a weekend. They'd probably just wash it and give it back to u.

Again, If you got to this place at all, make sure you sit there (in the service bay) all through the service.

All the best!

Anjita Bajaj Showroom, Near Sophia College, Jaipur Road, Meershali Ajmer.

>> Overall quality of svc : 1/5
>> Authenticity of billing : 3/5
(ability to convince billing)
>> Response after svc'g : 2/5
>> Response to feedback : 3/5
>> Time taken : 5/5 (They always complete early, even if it means doing nothing except washing the machine)
>> Attention to probs : 2/5 (My limited top end problem is still pending from 4 months now)
>> Mannerism : 4/5 (The same "bhaisahab" Culture, even if service is inferior)
>> Ambience : 3/5 (TV, water & mags but you can't afford to ignore your serviced machine. They might just wash it and give it back, doing nothing in engine.)

My bike/s : Pulsar 180 UG3 (2007) and Dad's XCD 125 (2008) ...
Experience : Pulsar's 4 Paid svc & 3 free svc. ...... and XCD 3 free svc & 1 paid.

Recommendation : NO, until Bajaj do something about those cheaters.

Tips : notice all the bike's problems. Bring it to service centre's notice. Be there when your bike is service. See that they do the necessary job, and not just "wash and deliver".
Ensure that problems are solved.
ALSO, ensure that new problems (like non-functioning indicators, tappet maladjustment) haven't made their way ... ALSO, ensure that your fuel tank's not replaced with a painted one.

As soon as you know a problem, go the centre at the earliest and complain!

i guess it does take that much time,i don't think its a direct fit, they have to make the holes i guess, even my SVC told me it will take some time and will do it with the service
