Default Service Center Reviews

I had an idea which would help all of us bikers quite a bit. Why don't all you guys post in this thread; the bike you have, the place you get it serviced (with city name and branch) and your experience with the service center.

Bike: Pulsar 200
Service Center: Khivraj Motors, Kasturba Road, Bangalore
Experience: Not great, they do not service the bike properly. They are just in a hurry to finish the job at hand and get on to the next one. Probably because they are under staffed and are trying to handle 30 bikes a day.

Bike : Apache RTR FI
Service Center : Ramkay TVS, Adayar
Experience : Good. Initially my bike was having hell a lot of problem, now most of the thing has been sorted out, Some 4-5 experienced guys are there to fix the major problems . Last time when I gave the bike for servicing and for fixing some minor issues they asked me to take the bike home only if I'm satisfied.

Hero Honda Nikhi Motors
-----------------------

>> Overall quality of svc : 4.0/5
>> Authenticity of billing : 3.5/5
(ability to convince billing)
>> Response after svc'g : 3.5/5
>> Response to feedback : 4.0/5
>> Time taken : 2/5
>> Attention to probs : 3.5/5
(ability to iron out)
>> Mannerism : 4.5/5
>> Ambience : 2.0/5 (no TV, no mags, just water in the longue)

My bike/s : Ambition135cc /Achiever150cc
Experience : 2 Paid svc, 1 free svc.
Recommendation : Yes
Tips : leave the bike early mrng, tell svc. guy you'll take the bike back only if issues are resolved, take delivery test ride and report any issues before billing / payment.

The review sounds rosy ? That's b'cos I had complained to HH regional office twice and svc. head is very close to me after that !!!

Bike : P200
Service Center: Khivraj , Kasturba Road, Bangalore

Ratings: 0/10 (Can give -100/10 also but it won't work)
Summary : If you ever want to screw up your bike, or perhaps, by a stroke of luck, get a company replacement due to servicing faults, look no further!
I'd say go here only to get the dealer stamp on your bike (for warranty). Then take it somewhere else for the actual servicing.

Bike : TVS Flame
Service Centre: Ramkay tvs, Velacherry
Ratings : 5/10
There are only few Good Expereienced People available and often the bikese are been serviced only by New engineers who all make a mess of our Bike and learn to service
Thier Customer Care Support is nice but the service is not High standards
Perhaps not for me...

Bike : RTR 160
Service Center : Triton TVS, Bellary road.
Ratings : 3/10
Summary : They are eager to note down the problems, but never work on them. They are in a hurry to just go from one bike to another. The problems remain as they are are. You have to be after them to get any issue resolved.
Not a great place to have your bike serviced.

Bike : yamaha FZ 16
Service Center : Orion Motors/perfect riders, Bangalore
Ratings : 5/10
Summary : they listen to your complaints get them done, but self assessment of bike is zero...service is not that great, orion is even worse as i have never seen them polishing bike atleast perfect rider does it.

I hope somebody like famous admin and mods of this forum and can link this thread to various manufacturers...

I agree with MindGrinder. Orion doesnt do much during the service and end up returning the bike dirtier than when you gave it to them. I made them wash the bike 3 freakin times after the last service and wasted over an hour in the process. They will however, listen to you when you hand your bike to them. Would strongly recommend staying away from them on weekends, they get too many bikes and cant handle the load. The only reason I give it to them is that its easy for me to head to office from Orion motors as compared to the other service centres.
