But we XBHpians prefer both - but priority for the performance modifications

There are lot of options you can do in performance modifications -----
it depends upon only one thing

1 - Depth of your pockets

the options are

1 - Sprocketing
2 - K&N
3 - Free Flow Pipe
4 - Upjetting
5 - Re-boring
6 - Nitrogen flyers
more more and more..............

Well i belive if any one needs explanations of the options - reply

i would like to get information about bike modification in terms of performance...In terms of looks, i need to know about painting and sticker works.

Thumbs up P200 modification query.

Hey guys this is my first post on x-bhp and i see a lot of experienced riders on this site. Anyway, I've been looking for a good bike to buy and have zeroed down to a used Pulsar 200. Now, i would like to know the estimate cost of installing a rear disk assembly and ABS at both, the front and rear. Further, I'm planning to install a K&N RC 1100 performance filter and get the required jetting and carburetor settings done. Are there any more performance modifications i can get done without having cop trouble? (That would rule out exhaust mods.) Also is it more advisable to get the entire K&N air intake assembly for better gains? I don't want to open the engine so head shaving/porting/polishing is out of the question. No cosmetic changes, thanks.

P.s. I know about the pros and cons of aftermarket air filters and have had a great experience with a K&N on my cbz classic.

^^ Fitting a rear disc will cost you 10K.
ABS on both discs can be another 1K

I don't really know how much difference you will get with a filter+jetting.
I have heard that a free-flow will be required in combination with the above two to achieve measurable gains.

Oh, and could you also let us know how much you are getting the bike for? I want to know how far my bike has been devalued already.

Thanks a ton, though i've actually convinced my mom to get me a new P220 Dts-i. Anyway, the reason for this is that the 2008 model 200's were being valued at approx 50-55k. So it didnt make sense for me to get one and then spend another 10-15k.

Don't worry though because as opposed to what people say about the value of P200 deteriorating, i reckon it'll stay put if not increase, as now there is no option of buying a new one. I'm sure the P200 is one of the most sought bikes for modification and sheer performance.

ok i have a doubt.. all this talk about rejetting and all.. how come nobody in any shops tell u about it when selling filters??
and i have been looking to put a filter on my HMC hunk... it has run 11k...
will just the filter and tuning be enough or rejetting needed?
also a major confusion about which brand of filter to purchase?
should i change spark plugs too?
