Hey.. one of my friend is running Night Breaker (55W) bulb directly on his 1 year old FZ.. it has a DC setup with stock 35W headlight bulb.

I assume, that it produces around 45W only.. and he is not able to utilize the powers of Night breaker fully. is that correct???

any suggestions.. would disabling somehting like pilot lamps etc. would help diverting more power towards headlight?

right now, he is happier than the stock bulb though..

Not necessary, there won't be cut-off to 45w or anything. In a DC bike, u plonk in 100w, it will glow well till your battery is dried. So no need of disconnecting anything for 55/60w Osram NB.!!

It should last as long as your bike is running at a healthy speed, say around 40kmph speed. I had Osram NB with battery connection without any mod on my charging unit. (note mine is a AC/DC bike so charging rate is low compared to all DC bike)

I could run hours together without any mess !! I usually had problem only while running in bumper to bumper traffic.

Ok for 180UG3, here is the simple & easy steps you have to follow to use 55/60W bulb.

Buy Avenger 180's coil ( which should cost 550 r 600rs ) & Install it along with 55/60w bulb that's it.

& Dude afaik all the pulsar's came with H4 socket ( except P220 which has H7 socket) so please check once again.
