oh okay,since i have a unicorn, will changing from a 7ah unit to a 9ah unit work out,since i am planning to go for HID?

Actually....one more thing is there...!

There is something called as RR(pulsar owners mite be able to clarify more on this) unit....which is used to charge the battery at a faster rate....!!

Inder bhai,unlike the pulsar in which i cud have directly swapped out the stock coil to that of the avenger coil+rr(that makes all pulsar owners very lucky),but since i ride a unicorn , that restricts my scope for such mods.

sadly yes.Another option is to go for a coil rewind,but again reliability is the issue since i dont wanna get stranded alone in a dark highway with a busted coil.moreover i didnt find anyone who cud do the rewinding job.All i get is a wide eyed stares and the question "Whats a coil rewind?"Bangalore guys are lucky

Na na...dont try the coil rewind option...!!! Ask motor abt the after effects

HEHE i heard the poor bloke had to tow his 200 due to a coil failure.bajaj bikes have a dry type coil unlike like in honda engines where the engine oil is circulated thru the coils too ensuring they remain cool.Hope my info is right

I think his case was that he had changed the oil and also not got the servicing done for quite a long time....due to which the stock coil got busted and then for a "Jugaad" he got it done from some local mech....since then he has been facing starter problems..!!

Inder,
Are you talking about the Regulator Rectifier?

TCI bullets feature this unit. As it's name suggests, the rectifier converts AC to DC.

The regulator absorbs/regulates the power.

So, if you could tune/make a R/R unit to give you the required voltage from the battery, it might work for the HIDs. This unit has managed to provide enough power to the powerful Denso electric starter on the Bullets.
