yea P200 has 39T in rear

Why don't you try for P220's rear one which has a 38T
or if you need more then the latest p220 DTS-i has 36T.
Mind you, top end will increase, on the other hand the initial acceleration will decrease.

May be the tuning of the bike is not upto the mark. Can this be possible from your side??

Err....P200 has a 38T and P220 has a 37T rear sprockets.

Are you sure about the new P220 having a 36T?? Coz the mech the PBK here was saying the sprockets have not been changed!

For all members:-->

P220 DTSi UG2 --> 36 teeth

P220 DTS Fi Old :--> 37 teeth

P200 Old :--> 38 teeth

Karizma :--> 40 teeth

P180 New :--> 39 teeth, Chain pitch I think maybe .520. Not sure though.

---
@ Rachitkdogra: See, 3 teeth changed on rear sprocket does NOT severely affect the gearing, even on a STOCK bike. I have done that, Trust me!
But, since your bike is modified, I say you should go for 37 teeth mentioned above...

So, go ahead and fit it in your bike. I know its ZMA and has a longer 5th, but its better performing than stock.

The P220 has always had 37T. The P200 has always had 38T.

Are you sure about the P220 Dts-i having a 36T rear??

OT: Dude, did you loose some teeth recently? Just asked coz your cheeks appear kindda sunken.

@praful: it's the time to change my sprockets of P200.

What you suggest.
A 37T old one or 36T , newer one??

Any pros and cons and will 36T make the gears taller?

Rohit,Reducing the teeth's by two is always good for the chain and its revolutionary nature,however it also needs to be simultaneously compensated by the ration of the front sprocket as it is the one that runs along with it..
One sprocket reduction would do much harm and to the new chain set and the chain roller's would get cut or damaged soon..

I wud advise a complete change of the Chain Set along with front sprocket,rear and the chain.

Or do not do anything like what LP did with his Discover, he had changed only the rear to 42,it created a problem.
and the front 16-39 as rear, Again a problem..

Pls do not perform any such kind of stunts with BIke like he did..
You know him.. Don't You..

Now every thing is running fine with his De-sprockted 125CC, Have you ridden it..

i think when we were painting your rear rim

I would be going for the whole sprocket kit that include a rear, front and chain as well.
But what about the performance. You've given the theory, now let me have some practical consequences of it.
