Default Need help to understand the legality of After Market Exhaust in India

Hi,

I have recently fitted my CBR250R with YoshimuraSLIP-ON R-77J STAINLESS END / CARBON END with dB Killer. I wanted to know if these widely popular slip ons are legal as per indian road law? Its been just two days for me that I had put it on and already my friends have started to pour in with all issues related to high decibel levels for this. I am keeping the revs low (~4000rpm) in city limits though to avoid any undesirable attention.

Thanks,
Shashvat

I know MXS, personally I only trust them with Lighiting, thats it. They didnt even know that Ed Hardy is a brand.

Wink Exhaust for Yamaha R15

Hi,
I have Yamaha R15 and am looking to fit an exhaust that sounds like a real sports bike but doesnt impact the performance of the engine. Is there any exhaust available? where can I get it? Thanks.

Default Exhaust for my TBTS

I've got a December 2010 Thunderbird Twinspark (UCE).
It's run 3000 kilometers now and still sports the original (silent) exhaust.

I'd like to change the exhaust now. I don't want it to sound loud, I just want it to sound nice, kind of like the old bikes did. I'd like to go for the original ones, if they work fine.
My main concern is engine performance and fuel economy. I'll be leaving on a six-hour ride an about 10 days from now, with the new exhaust.
Also, I'll be touring a lot over the next few years, so I'd like to buy an exhaust keeping that in mind.

Trouble is, I don't really know where to start. The RE guys where I live are creeps, at least after they've sold the bike to you. So I don't really think there's a point asking them.

Are the STD and electra exhausts (the original ones) compatible? And do they make a difference. And what about the classic exhausts?

Any ideas?

Lightbulb Flame Thrower exhaust!

Guys, last night on my way back home, i saw a FZ with a FFE throwing FLAMES on revving hard (approx 8k-8.5k)RPm. It looked very cool at night! It was a head turner! I was awstruck and im desperate to have one of those in my pulsar 135.

Heard that there are such flame thrower exhausts which costs more than 15k.
Well thats a bit too much i guess.!

EXperts here please suggest how to get such set up in my bike.
I really want my pulsar to even throw flames out of its exhaust on revving hard!

I would be eagerly waiting for ur replies. Thanks.!
