Hi my friend wants to purchase new bike for college and city riding purposes.
He is 5ft 4inches tall and weighs 60kgs.his budget is around 50k max.
The bike should look decent and easy to ride.This will be his first bike.
He shortlisted few bikes.the bike should also have electric start.
1)bajaj xcd 135 drum
2)hero honda passion
3)honda shine
4)new pulsar 135 ???

As this should be his first bike the should be easy to learn and ride in traffic conditions.

passion is a good easy to learn economical bike
Honda shine - Better than passion in many aspects. )decently powerful and economical. ASS in most places is bad.
P135- wait and watch..
Another one he could consider is the Honda Stunner...priced just right, looks sporty, easy to learn, good economy....

5'4" 60 kilos, newbie : I would suggest 100cc HH bike/Crux/Alba. 125cc Super splendor/Shine. Ask your pal to test ride super splendor, very good for short people.

I would suggest your friend to wait for the new pulsar. It looks promising with a good number of features for that segment.
A test ride would help him decide which one will be comfortable for him.

stunner is good bike but it would be pricey ?

one more thing bike should have good looks too .
yamaha crux he didnt liked.alba is good option.

what whould be mileage of these bikes ?
yamaha alba,honda stunner,xcd135 ,shine??

we are trying to make him learn riding on boxer !!
i will take test ride of alba..there is no test ride of stunner and xcd 135 in my area

I would ask him to wait for the new 110cc commuter coming up from Honda, wait for the Auto Expo for more details.
