If Quality is the only requirement regardless of the power then go for FZ.
If a slightly off-card vehicle that provides an fine reliability along with other mixtures are required then Pulsar. From both of them Pulsar 180 is a VFM machine. Donot just remove the vehicle from your list just becuz it has become 'COMMON', I hate this word. All bikes have 2 tyres, 1 engine that delivers power, so almost all the things are common in the bikes. So, why purchase them, Instead we should then buy a ROCKET only becuz it is uncommon or we should buy Bullock-cart only becuz it is the most uncommon in cities or maybe switch back to HORSES used by RAJA-MAHARAJA. No offence, purely my thinking about COMMON word. Last edited by abhichotu.abhi; 08-03-2010 at 09:18 PM. |

more capacity ( fz is only 150 cc ) its pretty powerful seats are big enough so you can take a pillion also on the other side, quality of yamaha is awsm... but i would say p180 for its better torque and power ... PS: i chose p220 over r15 for this very reason ... more cc, btter torque and more power ... and i simply love my bike ...

You haven't listed any requirements.. please do that, which will make it easier to compare bikes for the purpose. As always.. please take test ride of both the bikes. Moreover.. you seemed to like FZ and more concerned about how you look on that bike, is it so?? why should you bother about that!!

You cannot decide unless you take a test ride. A test ride is must. Ask a friend to take some snaps too. It will tell you how you look in that bike much easily.

i am just sayin,it might be a totally personal thing, but 2 of my frnds sold their fz-16's (one 1year old and other 4months old) and took 180's.. i was the one who sold those 2..they r normal riders who go on at 70~80 max..
things they said were bad on the fz for commutiing .dont know why,but they complained of acute wrist pain .the sitting position is uncomfortable .milage of a 200cc+ bike .sluggish and have to race the valves to be brisk one of them took a testdrive of the 180,then we went the next day and bought the 180 and it was then he brought his frnd along to see the bike, then he test drove the 180 and immidiately sold the fz and took the 180 the next day.. so,choose carefully.. and if u ask me,i would say go with the 180 with ur eyes closed..
