Hi just ride both the bikes and then decide...

Great poser value for FZ and as someone said all bikes are common, so you may have to go in for a custom build

Give a thought to RTR 180 you may just fall for it I did

BTW aren't girls also common??? So then......

if your concern is city riding then get the fz but if your concern is highway & city riding in a ratio of 70:30 then get the pulsar.
NOT BEEN THERE NOT DONE THAT

long route driving is abit tedious in fz because of the seating position and hard grips the palms start to hurt after around 100-120kms.... but you can always get a pair of gloves....

i am not a big fan of the pulsars dont like their quality...

Dont know exact but fz posts 5.xx and P180 does it in 4.xx according to my knowledge.

              I guess u read comparison with P150.

                Its simple dude

Get Fz if you are a big fan of the looks and hate pulsars or traffic in your city is very dense. ( You will love the low end in that case.)

for any other place or purpose, be it touring on highways or city comutting P180 will do.

If you want a fun-to-ride machine, go for FZ. Except quoted low mileage, the bike is awesome. You can happily do highway rides, the bike is wind-tunnel tested for high-speed stability. The low-end high torque gives better roll-on figures for FZ and it is fun to ride in city. You can not go wrong with Yamaha in quality and reliability.

What about a P220S? How does that feel to you?

Or might be a Fazer? You will look nice with big front fairing.

If a slightly off-card vehicle that provides an fine reliability along with other mixtures are required then Pulsar.

From both of them Pulsar 180 is a VFM machine. Donot just remove the vehicle from your list just becuz it has become 'COMMON', I hate this word. All bikes have 2 tyres, 1 engine that delivers power, so almost all the things are common in the bikes. So, why purchase them, Instead we should then buy a ROCKET only becuz it is uncommon or we should buy Bullock-cart only becuz it is the most uncommon in cities or maybe switch back to HORSES used by RAJA-MAHARAJA. No offence, purely my thinking about COMMON word.

SPOT ON ! my friend well,i hate this word more than ever now, everyone takes this word as a reason not to buy pulsars.

@thread starter--No matter what others say here,if you want to test both bikes for comfort don't ask here, take a test ride and decide for yourself

and regarding other aspects p180 hands down, well it doesn't mean FZ is bad;it is good but not when compared with marginally powerful machine like p180 .
