Plz Guys help me out here,
Im really confused about buying a avenger 220 or some other bike like r15 or any other. which has good top speed. currently i have pulsar 150 2nd edition.... So, my main concern is power and smoothness....I also keep considered royal enfield classic 500 but it has waiting period of over 8 months...so came back to avenger 220. can anyone suggest me better bike for highway with good power and smoothness on high speed..(above 100) i don't want to feel vibration below my feets when riding above 100km\h. I wanted to buy bike as soon as possible...so plz help... |

hey!
The avenger is extremely good for highway riding. Its riding position is very good and it is quite vibration free.Classic 500 is good but it has significant irritating vibrations above approx 90 kmph.i had ridden one recently for just around 40 kms continuously and my back wasn't very comfortable whereas same day some time before that i has ridden on avenger(180) it was really comfy. If you want really good speed you consider Pulsar 220.It hardly vibrates even above 130.But of course it doesn't have the best position but it's quite stress free |

if you want a cruiser..
as per my understanding.. +ve for Avi: - good budget bike - 220cc should go upto 120KMPH easily - nice low bike stance.. awesome for medium/small hight people. - bajaj means, indian, cheap spares ![]() - ve for Avi: - not that good for Offroading. - pillion comfort is not equal to TBTS - bajaj.. low quality.. high maintanance.. exactly same as pulsar 150. if you are happy with P150, go ahead no issue here.. if you are a RE person, go for TBTS.. but must be a RE person ![]() also, are you looking for cruiser OR sports bike?? cruiser- relaxed touring at 100-110KMPH.. Avi220, TBTS, Classic Sports- aggressive, high rpm adrenal rush at 100-110KMPH.. P220, karizma, R15 take your pick.. but first see where your heart goes.. |

THANKS FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS....GUYS
i like cruiser more than sports..and i like to cruise around 110 -120 but vibration free....and my heart also goes towards cruiser... im not a RE person and i like RE bikes a lot but the problem is waiting period is too long....and some people say TBTS also vibrates after 90-100 Km\h is that true...( i never ride one so i don't know) some days ago i have taken test ride of r15 ...and my heart fells on it...the smoothness of that bike is amazing...and lots of pics i have seen on Xbhp.. people taking road trips on r15 and they are quite happy with it... SO, should i choose r15 over avenger 220 or not |

R15 has more sproty position , you need to adjust your riding position for long rides. Its comfort not comparable to cruisers like Ave,karizma[its both cruiser and sporty],TBTS. In the long rides where you will be driving for 1-1.5 hrs continiously @ 100+ kmph i think r15 will not be that comfortable again it also depends how soon you adapt with its riding position.
Ave,karizma & RE are true cruisers. Ave has best posture but has some quality issues after couple of years[was with previous versions not sure about the latest one] , karizma is in middle of both worlds with good quality and smoothness. RE i dont have any exp on them. P220 & r15 are true sport bikes if you are ok with their sporty positions and feel you can manage your body stress by taking breaks in between your long rides go for them you surely have fun with their preformance and amazing speeds.
