its uber smooth.....
gives mileage around 58-60kmpl....
looks like a beast....check it out in reality
even though its the heaviest among 150cc seg it gives top speed of 127kmph(verified by me and Mach50) without mods....
no vibrations even at 120kmph+ speeds
is rock stable at such high speeds.......
is a perfect bike for touring......(its 2 G2G old)
can do cornering well.......
one of the best looking consoles.....
can smoke out with the likes of R15,karizma,zmr,pulsar220.....(forget about other 150cc bikes........they are nowhere in picture.........as experrienced from my latest lavasa G2G....)
gives you a feel of riding something big......
its heavy still you can stunt with this one.....Mach50 has posted a video in GS ownership section......
three modes to drive according to your necessaties.......
if you want mileage the ECO mode
if you want power like that of karizma's then POWER mode
if you want both then GOD mode(that's what people call it)
and you can easily rely on this one for 10 years!!!

drawbacks........
since its heavy it will take time for you to handle it........otherwise it glides its way out......
and the only problem which i face is the headlamp....its adequate for city riding but not for highway.........(fix a HID and this is solved.....)
All the best for your bike.............and Ride Safe!
and then what about other 150 cc bikes
please do give your opinion!

yes here you have to chose from a ultra smooth engine vs a torque master!

It is always better to be not too optimistic, nor too pessimistic, rather to be realistic. You are a good rider, and have a good bike. This dosen't mean other performance bikes which are better than GS150R to get outta picture.

And yes, R15, only bike in india which can compete it is P220. Leave the other bikes outta comparison really.
+100.. "Smoke the R15/P220" Can you spell DUH!!

@Maestro, please be realistic while giving sugestion on the forum.
what i meant was.......in "POWER MODE" it behaves like a karizma......and i do verify what all suggestions i give on XBHP......if you still have a doubt then ask any of the bikers from lavasa trip or the bhandardara trip to verify this.........

What you said is absolutely true..........there was even another GS on lavasa G2G but he was not riding the way i rode.......and i never said that GS is better than the performance bikes.......as its a commuter bike....still it was going on with them......and may be the traffic/roads were stopping those bikes from crossing 120kmph......i dunno.......but for me it performed neck to neck with those which were present........

Karizma's 0-60 and 0-100 figures are 4.7 and 14 seconds, respectively. GS150's 0-60 and 0-100 figures are 5.7 and 19 seconds, respectively. Now, you still want to say GS150 is powerful and quick than a Karizma?

I am sure you have not verified. You just assume. You have not ridden a karizma (you said you rode only in traffic and it explains everything.)

In group rides, even though I am riding a ZMA/P220/R15, if I have member riding a 150, I will just take it easy so that the member riding a 150 keeps up with me. It happens everywhere.

The power mode in GS150 will not give you any extra power. The power figueres will not change. In economy mode, it just gives you a warning when you cross optimum RPM range. In, power mode, it will not give you any warning.

Exactly. that was my point too. The only objection I have about "it can smoke ... leave other 150cc s" part.
