Village roads? Are you looking at loading the bike with luggage too? I guess TVS has got some bike Max4 or something, dual rear shocks. That should be good. Discover isn't that bad...

Now I have shortlisted 2 bikes finally.

Bajaj Platina 100cc
Bajaj Discover 100cc

I like the YBR but my father is somewhat reluctant because of its low market value.

Discover alloys+self is for 45k and platina with alloys(no self) is for 37k. Is Discover worth the extra money or platina is the best.

Take a test ride of both. IMHO the Discover feels a little "better put together" than the Platina. However, both will give you great mileage. Other things apart.

I test rode both. Platina seems to be very light weight. Is it because currently i m riding Discover 125cc (2004 model). It dosent seems to be that stable and planted. Discover 100cc was wobbling (front handle) because of its poor setup so couldnt rode it much. But it was better than Platina and Discover spoke version cost 40k. so which is better.

Go for Discover, you'll get relatively bigger bike feel compared to Platina.
