You may go for suzuki gs150r.It reatils for maximum 70k.mileage more than 45kmpl, very smooth engine, good pillion seat, pickup is comparitively low but for city riding the low end torque is very utilizable for the novice riders or for lazy riders like me.6th gear is a boon for highway cruising.
the only disadvantage could be lack of sale and service in your area, otherwise it is a very good bike & is well under your budget. |

Even the ZMR is a good option..
It has got good built quality, crisp throttle response as it is fuel injected,GRS suspension, mileage hovers around 35-40/lt and it can give even more than that and it will easily last 5-6 years

and avenger if your dad is used to the cruiser style riding. R15 is a no no, as it can induce back ache. P220 not great for pillion comfort.

@ Everyone thanks for the replies.
I have shortlisted 2 bikes p220 and zma-r, r15 and zmr will be above my budget range. R15 will not suit my build told my dad about my choices he said a big no to p220 he told me to go for zma-r even if it cost more than p220. Today I went to the hero moto corp showroom to my surprise there where no zma-r's only zmr's asked the the sale guys he told me that zma's will be available only after 2 months if i book it today but the zmr's are readily available and he told me zma are selling more than zmr's.![]() Here are some more queries * will any bike which will be launched in the next 2 month be in my budget range. I have heard the new r15 will be price @ 1 lakh is it true ?? * are tubed tyres more prone to punctures than the tubeless tyres. * after zma-r break-in period if i ride it at higher speed say 100 kmph during weekends will the mileage permanently settle down to 25kmpl even if i ride the bike at 50 kmph. * should i be concerned about the absence of rear disk bake in the zma. |
