Question R15 or ZMR?

I'm confused!
Please help..
Which one to go for?
The All New R15 V 2.0 or the 2011 Karizma ZMR?
Being 6', 80 Kgs, most of the times with pillion, sometimes elderly ladies too ,
some 100-200 kms in a while is what's required.
Currently riding RX-135 4s!
Also both are fairly in the same price range(R15 being 10- 11% costlier)

I will give you an overview on ZMR & R15 and leave the descission to you.

+ves of ZMR: Good low end power, comfortable for pillions, extremly good for touring, good looks(subject to persons view), good milage(for a 223mill), very comfortable city riding too.

-ves : Costly & scarcley available spares(plastics only!), Handling(if compared with R15), Crosswinds, engine heat up in bumper<>bumper traffic.

R15 +ves: Killer looks, best handling, inspires confidence to go faster, superb high end, good milage, latest tech.

-ves: not suitable for pillion riding(v2.0), low end(might got better on v2.0 but no review till date), just ok for touring(depends on riding style)

I don't think you need to post a thread buddy, the choice is very simple-go for the torquey, comfy ZMR! You&your pillion will be very happy.
Oh btw, ZMR even has a ladies' footrest.

Never think about buying a bike for what people will perceive you as. I know after buying many may say you would have looked cooler on an R15, or something like that, but the best bike is the one which you can use best.

Buy a white ZMR asap!

Since you are going for something with pillion i would say you no to go for 2.0 R15, as its uncomfortable for pillion as compared to V1. So the choice you are left with is ZMR, On the other hand even pulsar 220 is a good bike.

The new one is much more refined and better.

Thanks Rakesh! The summary is good! And it suggests for a ZMR, as mostly city riding, but also NOT much of bumper to bumper traffic! Pretty fair moving traffic where I'll ride!

Thanks Satyam! True! I feel very comfortable on a ZMA-R as compared to an R15! (Have ridden both)

Thumbs up Thank You Guys!

Thanks a lot guys! I appreciate it!

Here I go:
I ride RX-135 and a very close friend has a ZMA-R (gharka hi gaadi hai ).
The ZMR with same/slightly better characteristics, Its very comfortable in the city!
The powerband of R15 is to be exploited on the highway (after 5000 RPM), where I dont ride that much! Also the ZMR is not bad either! Comparing the R15 with ZMR on handling is I know, the R15 is unbeatable! Again ZMR not bad either- may be the 2nd/3rd (Sorry, if incorrect- just an opinion)!
The problem is I am (to be honest) so much excited about the R15, can't just express! Also Love the ZMR! But can't buy both now!
So, I just have to prioritize which one to get first! I wish to get both!

So may be I'll have to go with ZMR and some months/years later, go for the R2/R200/R250.

I'm such a jerk that I might even go and get the R15!
Hopefully, I wont do that, and go for the ZMR now!

Sorry, if I said something wrong!
