if you have budget then go for karizma otherwise hunk is a good option as you are looking for a comfortable tourer....fz is a good city bike but its ride quality is on stiffer side....plus hunk will give you better mileage then fz and low maintainece cost...

one more thing, mileage of fz and karizma 2011 is almost same where as karizma will give you much needed power and torque for long highway rides...but fz lacks on power front....karizma can ride on 100+ speeds comfortably but fz will hardly accelerate or go beyond 105....infact its acceleration is good upto 90 kmph mark only...

lookwise fz looks coool and its a very good city bike but as far as touring is concerned, it will not serve your purpose that well...

go for karizma if you can stretch your budget by 10-12k.....it will give you fun of high speeds with almost same mileage figures....

Harish, Did you test ride the new Hero Impulse?. I'd suggest you give it a try and give in your views on the same. its basically a Honda with a Hero badge. It has the same engine as that of hunk, gives 53kmpl (as per some ownership reviews), has provision to attach a rear pannier and has the suspension to go over any road. Also the best average cruising speed for a bike on good tarmac would be 80-90km/hr. which this bike Might be capable of.

close your eyes and go for FZ
dazzler parts are rare and costly ......it is also semi flaired
FZ is a naked street bike so it will be good for crusing ..... it tyre is nice and grippy

you can try impulse as said above ......... every indian bumper/Pit is as smooth as running on asphalt road
